Meet Andrea Rivers, LSW

Individual Therapist | Psychedelic Therapist

Do you feel like you're drowning in the sea of changes and transitions happening around you? Maybe you feel trapped in repetitive behaviors and are having a hard time changing habits on your own. Whether it’s navigating a new phase of life, or trying to move on from old patterns and habits that no longer serve you - I can help.

My name is Andrea Rivers and I am an individual therapist at Alchemy Therapy and Wellness. I am a Licensed Social Worker, and have over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field.

I learned in middle school that I had a strong sense of empathy and respect when working with classmates during a group project. Over the years, creating and collaborating with others in a safe environment continued to feel natural, which led me to make the natural decision to become a therapist.

I enjoy working with adults to help you navigate anxieties, grief, trauma, family complexities, turbulent times and behavioral challenges, My specialty is personalizing our sessions to meet your needs, highlighting your strengths, and help you identify short and long-term goals. I’m formally trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches.

I work with individuals over the age of 16, as well as provide psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy services. I see clients in person in Frisco, and via telehealth for clients throughout Colorado.

Rates + Insurance: My rate for a 50 minute traditional psychotherapy session is $140, and 2-hr psychedelic therapy session is $280. I also accept the Building Hope scholarship.
